Lightning in a Bottle is an immersive music festival and cultural gathering that transcends the boundaries of traditional music events. Located in Southern California, it offers a transformative experience featuring an eclectic lineup of artists, holistic workshops, interactive art installations, and a strong commitment to sustainability. 

In my role as the Social & Digital Media Manager for Lightning in a Bottle 2019, I was responsible for a diverse array of responsibilities. This encompassed the development of high-level social media strategies, community management oversight, and weekly email communications to an engaged subscriber base exceeding 107,000. I also directed the online written content strategy, collaborated on art direction for digital campaign materials, and managed a team of support staff and interns.

Additionally, I coordinated the festival's photo and video team throughout the event's lifecycle. This included creating shot lists, organizing digital assets, selecting video songs, and offering post-production direction, ensuring we effectively captured and conveyed the festival's essence.

Notable accomplishments

I spearheaded a dynamic social media strategy that yielded substantial growth, increasing the overall social media fanbase by an impressive 35,000. As part of our engagement initiatives, we also orchestrated giveaways that attracted over 19,000 entries, further solidifying our brand's presence and fostering a robust digital community.
