Lightning in a Bottle is an immersive music festival and cultural gathering that transcends the boundaries of traditional music events. Located in Southern California, it offers a transformative experience featuring an eclectic lineup of artists, holistic workshops, interactive art installations, and a strong commitment to sustainability. 

In my role as Do LaB's Social Media Manager, I played a central role in shaping Lightning in a Bottle's digital presence. I developed and executed comprehensive social media strategies across various platforms, ensuring our brand resonated effectively with our audience. This included overseeing community management efforts, sending weekly newsletters to an engaged subscriber base exceeding 100,000 individuals, and meticulously curating our online written content strategy. Additionally, I collaborated closely with talented designers to create captivating digital collateral that aligned with our brand's creative vision. In this multifaceted role, I also took charge of managing a dedicated team of support staff and interns, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment to achieve our digital and marketing objectives seamlessly.

Through a carefully crafted blend of innovative social media strategies, with a particular focus on leveraging IG Stories, coupled with the inherent strength of LIB's authentic brand presence and a growing cultural shift toward conscious festivals, we achieved remarkable results. Our recipe for success resulted in the acquisition of over 13,600 new fans across various social media platforms. Additionally, I laid the groundwork for the festival's influencer program, a pivotal step in further expanding our digital reach and engagement, a topic I delve into further below.

Notable accomplishments

Initiated the process of cultivating relationships with influential individuals in diverse domains such as music, yoga, and art. Over time, these connections have evolved into integral and enduring pillars of the festival's rich history.

During a period when there was a prevailing emphasis on feed aesthetics, I strategically implemented an Instagram posting strategy to align with the prevailing trend.

By harnessing the power of UGC, leveraging festival highlights and history, illuminating creative spotlights, and drawing inspiration from the world around us, I skillfully crafted an Instagram Story strategy that vividly told the festival's unique narrative.
