Lightning in a Bottle is an immersive music festival and cultural gathering that transcends the boundaries of traditional music events. Located in Southern California, it offers a transformative experience featuring an eclectic lineup of artists, holistic workshops, interactive art installations, and a strong commitment to sustainability.
In my role as the Social Media Manager at Do LaB, I played a pivotal role in shaping the strategies for Lightning in a Bottle across various digital platforms. This encompassed overseeing community engagement initiatives, delivering weekly emails to an active subscriber base exceeding 100,000 individuals, actively contributing to the development of the online written content strategy, collaborating with designers to craft compelling digital collateral and providing valuable support in various operational tasks to ensure the festival's seamless execution.
Notable accomplishments
By capitalizing on the rising interest in conscious festivals, consistently delivering engaging yet informative content, and harnessing emerging technology such as Snapchat, we witnessed an impressive surge in our collective social media fanbase, which grew by an astonishing 45,300 individuals.
Collaborated directly with the team at Snap to create a real-time “Our Story” where attendees could utilize distinctive filters and contribute content to a shared public feed in the moment.
