Do LaB at Coachella is an immersive music and art experience within the iconic Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival known for its cutting-edge stage design, vibrant art installations, and electrifying performances.
In my role as Social & Digital Media Manager during the Coachella 2018 campaign, I spearheaded a comprehensive suite of responsibilities including the development and execution of high-level social media strategies, collaborating with our in-house media team to produce compelling content and orchestrating an intricate on-site live coverage campaign. Beyond this, I took charge of community management, worked closely with graphic designers to shape the art direction of our digital campaign collateral, sent weekly newsletters to an engaged subscriber base exceeding 107,000, and managed the online written content strategy and execution, ensuring an impactful digital presence.
Notable accomplishments
Over the course of two weekends, we witnessed a surge in Do LaB's cumulative social media following, as it expanded by an impressive 8,000 users. This increase stands as a testament to the efficacy of our concerted efforts and strategic approach to social media management during this intensive period.
