Do LaB at Coachella is an immersive music and art experience within the iconic Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival known for its cutting-edge stage design, vibrant art installations, and electrifying performances.

In my role as the Social Media Manager for the 2022 Do LaB at Coachella campaign, I assumed the multifaceted responsibility of formulating high-level content strategies that spanned various platforms, ensuring a cohesive and engaging digital presence, day-to-day management of our social media channels and fulfilling the responsibilities of a community manager. 

Furthermore, my role expanded to encompass the orchestration of an intricate on-site live coverage social media campaign during the event. This involved coordinating artist takeovers, producing real-time social content, and executing captivating surprise guest announcements, among other initiatives, all aimed at enhancing the festival experience and amplifying our online presence.

Notable accomplishments

Over the span of two festival weekends, my team’s efforts culminated in the acquisition of over 6,800 unique email and SMS sign-ups, a testament to the effectiveness of our engagement strategies. Simultaneously, the company’s social media footprint saw an impressive boost, with the following expanding by over 7,900 individuals. These achievements emphasized our ability to create a lasting impact that continued to resonate long after the final act had left the stage.

Live Event Social Coverage

High-level social plan tailored for on-site implementation at Coachella, featuring artist takeovers, real-time photo & video production, surprise announcements, and an ongoing stream of engaging "always-on" content.

Artist Takeovers

Collaborated with artist teams to facilitate real-time Instagram Story takeovers that were weaved into the on-site festival coverage strategy. Through enhanced engagement and reach, we were able to achieve a 225% boost in views.

Discord Strategy

Initiated the Do LaB server and actively engaged within the world's largest festival Discord server, Coachella, as part of our strategic approach. This included the establishment of our dedicated hosted channel where we teased surprise guests, provided updates, and delivered a holistic festival experience to our online community.
