Do LaB is an event production company renowned for its boundary-pushing experiences at the intersection of art, music, and culture. Their commitment to fostering community, inspiring creativity, and pushing artistic boundaries has made them a trailblazing force in the live entertainment industry.
At the onset of my career, I joined the Do LaB team as their Social Media Coordinator. In this capacity, I cultivated an enduring social media strategy that seamlessly merged the realms of art, community, culture, and events. My responsibilities included the year-round management of the brand's social media platforms, encompassing the consistent promotion of local events, the creation of engaging short-form cultural highlights, sharing behind-the-scenes footage, curating written blog content, and much more.
Every year since 2004, Do LaB has built an autonomous immersive musical stage environment that thrives within the larger Coachella festival ecosystem. In addition to the ongoing social strategy, I also oversaw the annual Do LaB at Coachella campaign which included on-site interactive ticket giveaways, live artist interactions, calculated surprise guest roll-out plans, and the development of beautiful, high-quality photo & video content.
Exceeding any quantifiable metric, I elevated Do LaB's social media presence to a remarkable level, surpassing its initial state when I took the helm. I had the opportunity to conceptualize and implement ideas in alignment with my personal interests, which in itself is an accomplishment. Leveraging the strong brand identity as my foundation, I executed content strategies that resonated with our audience. As a result, Do LaB's social footprint witnessed a substantial increase, amassing over 80,000 new fans across Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter during my five years as an employee at the company.
